Our History

Founded in 1984, Scissors started as a small business in Syosset and grew quickly due to the quality of services and care offered. As a result, by 1993, Scissors was ready for expansion; which lead them to their current location at 20 Cold Spring Road, Syosset NY.

In 1998, Scissors expanded again to create a full service day salon where urban trends met the suburban lifestyle, in a very comfortable and soothing atmosphere. The stylists at the salon are provided advanced education to maintain and provide further expertise to each and every clientele. Due to the spa aspects, you can now have a 30-minute massage by a licensed massage therapist, a full make up application by a highly trained artist, and a highly trained artist to have your hair coiffed for your evening night out – all within one easy sitting!
