Moving away from permanent root color
Existing dark color does not disappear when you choose gray blending. If your goal is to remove dark color or move toward silver, book a Color Correction Consultation with Fabio first. It starts at $50 for 30 minutes, with the fee paid credited once toward the planned color service at checkout. The correction itself is a separately planned appointment.
A maintenance plan you can keep
Softer regrowth still needs care. Ask which parts of your color plan need refreshing and what changes to watch for between appointments. Bring up your preferred visit frequency at the consultation, so the chosen finish fits your routine. Your colorist can recommend care for your specific color and hair condition; there is no single schedule that suits everyone.

What is the difference between gray blending and gray coverage?
Gray blending adds soft color to existing gray while leaving a more translucent or dimensional result. Gray coverage aims to conceal gray more fully. Choose Demi-Permanent Gray Blending for an all-over softening service or Gray Blending with Foils for selected strands; discuss root color or all-over color if fuller coverage is your goal.
Will gray blending turn my dark hair gray or silver?
No. These gray-blending appointments add color to existing gray. They do not lighten dark or previously colored hair, create lighter highlights, or turn dark hair silver. For a transition from dark color to silver, start with a Color Correction Consultation with Fabio so the service, time and price can be planned separately.
Should I choose demi-permanent gray blending or color foils?
Demi-Permanent Gray Blending is a precise all-over application that softens gray more evenly, from $150. Partial color foils focus on the hairline, part and selected visible areas, from $200. Full color foils blend selected gray strands throughout the head, from $275. Foils add depth while leaving some natural silver visible.
How is gray blending different from Color Gloss?
Color Gloss, from $85, is a shorter tone-and-shine refresh for an existing shade. Demi-Permanent Gray Blending, from $150, includes a precise all-over application to soften existing gray. Choose based on the work and result you need. An extra Color Gloss is not automatically required with gray blending.
